"Did you purchase it already?!" Rydel excitedly asks Laura through the phone. She had the call on loudspeaker for us to hear, even if we don't really need to.
"Yes I did!" Laura answers. I could tell through her tone that she was annoyed. Today was the release of our new extended play LOUD. This time it was released through a record deal becasue our first EP was independently released. Actually, today's a Tuesday and we're supposed to have school today. But luckily it's spirit week where there aren't really much classes going so it's okay to miss the week but I might return on Friday for the parade (A/N: okay, I made this holiday thing up I guess there isn't such thing but let's say there is). And I'm surprised that Laura's not in school today,
"Yay!" Rydel squeals "Tell me your favorite!!!"
Laura puffed. "It just finished downloading how could I listen to it?"
"Okay! Are you going here?"
"I'll see, Caroline and I are going out today."
"Then cancel it!"
"What?!" Laura exclaims. "Rydel, it doesn't mean you hate Caroline you need to be cruel to her through me. We planned this ahead and I know she's looking forward to it."
She hates Caroline? How come?
Rydel uncomfortably blinks and looks around. "Uhm, okay. I need to end the call, Laura. Just go here if you can. Just text me. Bye."
Rydel plops down beside me and her top knot wobbles. She held her phone on her chest amd leans her head back.
"Why do you hate her?" I ask.
She faces me. "Who?"
I glare at her. "Caroline, duh. Why?"
"Oh," she chuckles. "Don't know. Just. . . Don't feel the vibes with the girl."

The doorbell buzzes (real question why do they call it a doorbell that buzzes still a doorbell?) and Rydel offers to open it. I was eating popcorn with Rocky and Ryland surprisingly not playing Call of Duty but having this Just Dance competition which I find funny because they're battling to Baby One More Time.
"Laura!" I hear Rydel scream from the door.
"Who brought you here? Is Vanessa there?" Rydel questions as they enter here in the living room.
"Nope. She has filming for Switched At Birth. Caroline and Chris are out there," she answers. "Woah! Shake that Ryland!"
"I know, it's fab," Ryland says before returning to the game. His status had an 'X' next to it indicating that he did the move wrong while Rocky's had 'Perfect'.
As the both of them were about to sit beside me, the doorbell buzzed again making Rydel groan.
"Coming!" She yells. But before Rydel got out of the living room Laura pulled her back making Rydel ask why.
"I better go get the door with you," Laura says. "I wouldn't want to see two of my girls fight."
Rydel rolls her eyes. "Oh, it's her by the door."
Laura sighs and nods. "So let me get it with you or I'll just get it myself?"
"No, it's my house and of course I'll do the honor of welcoming our lovely guests in," Rydel says sarcastically. They walk out together as Ryland and Rocky's game end. Rocky had five stars and Ryland had four. Fair enough.
"Now next song. . ." Ryland waves the remote to place the cursor thing onto some command.
"Hi Ross!" Caroline enters and bends down to kiss my cheek. My eyes were widened in shock. Uh, why?
