• amelio lowe and morgan stark met at a gay bar in colorado , the two both being stationed at the base there in greenwich . they hit it off immediately , spending all night together and were lucky to see that they were being roomed together in the bunker .
morgan was in his 11th year of serving when he met his soon to be lover , the two getting married once they both were on temporary leave .
• morgan first met amelio's daughter after being together for a year . the girl was named margo
, an bright eleven year old who loved Iron Man . it was awkward at first for morgan , but he loved her deeply . morgan knew couldn't have his own kids , so margo was the closest thing he'd ever have .
• that wedding was small , for to neither lowe or the stark having much money . lowe from his family's farm going downhill and morgan because he never took in his inheritance. margo was the little flower girl , glad to have a complete family . the honeymoon consisted of camping and playing board games .
• amelio died of cancer suddenly , the man never liking to go to hospitals . he died around his family ; his adopted family ( brother and father ) , along with his husband and daughter . it was a thursday , sunny weather .
• margo was taken away a couple moments after amelio passed . morgan having gotten back into old habits which his daughter told her teachers , worried for her old man . they took her away kicking and screaming , morgan being dragged away to a psychiatric hospital . the last time she saw her father was him bloody and reeking of alcohol .
that was in between him completely leaving the army , causing his higher ups to force him to be completely honorably discharged .
morgan's still trying to find her so that he can take her back , if she'd allow him to .
this all happened a year ago , the 16 year old wanting to see her dad again .
