Nino's Pov:-

I was sitting in our music room trying to write a song. I sighed as I kept down the pencil and tried reading whatever I had written. Ah! I took the pencil and scratched a few lines.

"Ah!! Mou(Geez)..." I scratched my head.

The dinner night with Naho isn't getting off my head, especially that conversation.

"I mean, you had feelings for him, right? So, isn't it good for you?" Ah! How stupid of me to say something like this!

"That was in the past." She replied sadly looking down.

"But Ryusei has changed now. He will surely take care of you now that he liked you back."

"I don't care!"

"Naho-"

"Why?" she looked at me with teary eyes, "Why Kazu is saying something like this? Even though you know everything. I don't have any feelings for him. I've feelings for someone else!"

I was awestruck. I instantly looked at her. She wasn't looking at me at all.

"Who?"

She kept quiet, ignoring to look at me.

"Who is he, Naho? Tell me." I asked softly. "Is it Kanata?" and I really don't know why I asked this.

She still didn't say anything.

"Is it Kanata, for real?" I asked again.

"Haai!"

It was my entire fault. I should not have said that. I should not have forced her to tell her feelings. Because of me Naho is now upset. She might not say or show but she might be stressed. Why the hell I did that!

Ninomiya Kazunari, you just wanted to know if she has some guy she likes for your self-satisfaction.

Wait...that's not-

Yes, you asked her for her own sake. If you had not asked her, how you would've made her feel better?

But-

Because of your selfish thoughts, Naho cried.

No-

It was only for her sake.

"AHH!" I almost banged my head on the table.

My mind and my brain always confuse me.

"This is worst!" I whispered.

"Nino?" I looked up at the door only to see Massan standing there.

"Doushita (What happened), J?" I asked.

"I just came to check up on you..." he asked as he walked towards me, "Naho-chan to nanika atta desho (Something happened between you and Naho, right)?"

"Eh? Sonna koto nai (It's not like that)!" I replied ignoring his look.

"You don't need to hide anything, Nino, you know? It shows on your face." He sat on a chair in front of me.

I told him everything that happened with Naho that night.

"Naruhodo (I see). But I don't think its Nino's fault at all." he stated.

"It is, J! I should not have named Kanata there!"

"Well, taking Kanata's name was surely wrong. But I think you only asked her for her own sake, to make her feel better."
