Connections Through Blood

Chapter 1

3rd person POV:

Stalking through the halls of UA with an excessively pissed off expression Aizawa headed into the staff room and took his seat, giving a small nod to Nezu who stood at the end of the table, as the other members of staff and a few pro heroes entered the room and took their own respective seats.

As everyone got situation Aizawa couldn't help but feel anxious about the meeting, it was out of the blue and he's only ever seen Nezu this serious a handful of times, none of which were good thing.

Clasping his paws together Nezu let the faux cheery expression fall, surveying the people in the room with as grim as a face can be for an animal.

"I thank you all for arriving on such short notice but time is limited and we must not waste any of it." He says with no real conviction behind the statement. The adults all gave a small bow of their heads and little murmurs of assurances in respect.

"I get your trying to make this light hearted, but we've been called here for a reason and theirs no beating around the bush so get on with it!" Gran Torino says crossing his arms with a scowl, Aizawa couldn't help but agree. If so many pros are present it means something big is happening and it isn't logical to stall.

With a sigh he nods raising a paw and clicking a small remote in his clutch turning on the projector in the room.

"Very well, I suppose your right." He says, another red flag for Aizawa. Nezu always has a smart ass response or mind game to bite back with when interrupted. He just gave in this time.

And as another click from the remote goes off a picture of All For One appears, startling the pros who have not yet faced Japan's boogyman and haunting the ones who have.

"It has been discovered by a source I shall keep anonymous as per there request, that All For One has escaped Tartarus." All Might stood up, chair clattering to the floor.

"Nezu! You can't be serious we have more security measures than ever before in place it should be impossible for him to get out!" He shouts in disbelief, horror rising through the room from the floor to the ceiling. The villain was just put back behind bars mere months ago, the last of One For All was used to beat the man and it was surely enough to keep him their for good...right?

Aizawa tenses, composure unchanging but Mic could tell he was worried, he reached under the table and took Aizawa's hand in his and ran his thumb over the top of Aizawa's.

"I assure you I would not joke about such a serious matter. He is out and as of now is untraceable, we only have a small amount of information from an inside source that's given us an advantage to what he may want, which is why we are having this meeting." Now I ask that you all keep your emotions in check. This is the wrong place and the wrong time to start getting riled up." He says snapping his head towards All Might. The retired hero apologies and coughs awkwardly as he picks his chair up and sits back down.

"Now then, as I was saying his escape happened four days prior. And before anyone asks we were keeping it under wraps so the public doesn't catch wind of this situation and worry." Mirko nods approvingly. A wound up civilian could put many in danger but all of them worked up? It would be chaos.

"Our inside source has relayed to us not the reason for escaping not a motive but evidence of his past." He pauses gauging for reactions. Then continues.

"We were wary of the information and ran it through the databases to confirm, all of coming back positive. I must concur that I didn't see it coming but it is not to out their." Aizawa raises an eyebrow, the rat was stalling.

"He had a lover about twenty seven years ago that he has contacted as of recently." All Might goes sickly pale, a lover?

Someone willingly lies with the monster that's run the underground for hundreds of years?

"Do we know who this person is?" Asks Midnight, fiddling with her whip.

"No but I have people looking into it as we speak. Databases searching for anyone under his name or aliases. And insiders staying close to the source for information."

All Might looks unsatisfied with that answer.

"Forgive me for questioning you but are you sure? If he has a lover that means we could not only have someone as bad as him running lose but if they've been forced into this relationship then how do we even know if their able to tell us anything about him? They may have the key to ridding of him once and for all." He exclaims hesitantly.

"I am sure Yagi, I would not be telling so many of you if I was not sure of my findings." Nezu says pointedly.

It was a tough subject for the former number 1. The man has intruded in his life and haunted him since he took on the mantle of OFA's holder. He worries for Midoriya and what this could mean for his mentee.

"Then what's our plan?" He asks his boss and longtime friend.

"Nothing. For now we keep this to ourselves and keep a close eye out during patrol. Everything is a possibility and we cannot miss a single detail." Nezu says, cheery facade back up.

"But-" a Mirko starts to protest.

"Meeting adjourned thank you for your time!" And the animal walks away, most sitting their dumbfounded for a short while before getting up. Leaving quickly to deal with their own problems for the day.

And that is the first redone chapter of the story! I thank you for your patience and hope you like the renewed version, I will work as quick as possible to renew the rest of the chapters. I do wish to point out a few things for future reference.

Nighteye, should I stick with cannon and he's dead or leave him alive? The story is time set to after Eri's saving and the sports festival.

All Might is retired.

Aizawa and Mic is the official pairing.

Endeavor, Mineta, and Bakugo will face consequences, but alas I will not be giving them a character redemption. They will get a character development but will not be redeemed of their wrong doings.

Ignore season six, it killed me and it's not canon in this. It never happened.

Overhaul will be switching sides- ish.

We will still have Dabi's identity reveal.

Im not making Midoriya OP- it's so overdone.

Aizawa will get a bit of bashing (he gets redemption)

Shinso is going to be a jerk for the first bit.

Stain will make an appearance.
