Chapter 2

✿3rd Person P.O.V✿

"That damn old man,saying that he would close the shop out of nowhere and then sends me to a culinary school.I'm sure that school would be like those neighborhood cooking classes" Soma grumbled as he walked towards his new high school for the entrance exam while Sai who was behind him said "I'm sure.......Jou-san thought about this.......before sending us"

"The fact that he dragged you as well into this,did you knew or heard anything about this from Amai-san before?" Soma asks while turning to Sai whose face turned into a frown as well."Amai never.....said anything" Sai mumbled

✿Flashback about yesterday✿

"Well we and Sai together have to apologize to our regulars" Jouricho says as he enters the shop while Soma shouts from behind "Apologize to your own son and Sai first!!" while Sairento tries to process the information

"A friend of mine suggested us to work together,so I would be leaving after packing my stuff and I would also be living with them" Jouricho says and Soma says "Wait dad!!" to interrupt him but Jouricho continues "Don't worry I would be sending money for you both"

"Dad!! I want to stay at the restaurant!!" Soma suddenly shouts while looking down and Sai who finally understood the situation says "Jou-san......so suddenly?" with confused eyes.Jouricho comes and stands in front of them before bumping one of his fists against Soma's chest while patting Sai's head with his another hand."Both of you,it's finally time to see your limits and that's why I'm sending you both to a cooking school" Jouricho says with a smile

"Why do we need to go to a cooking school and Sai never went to school for such a long time,won't it be hard for him?" Soma says with a frown while holding the entrance application envelope and Sai looks at it with concern

"Well since I'm closing the shop,I think it's a good time for you to get high school credits and it's finally time for Sai to have a school experience instead of being copped up in the cafe.Well Amai wished for this himself so I hope you go there" Jouricho says with a sad smile making Sai confuse

✿End of flashback✿

"Sigh,anyway now that we are going there please stay close to me" Soma says with a brotherly tone and turns towards Sai,causing him to smile."Of course......Soma" Sai says with a smile causing Soma to ruffle Sai's hair with a ruffle

After walking for some time the two finally seemed to reach the place when distant cries of despair caught their eyes.They reach a parking lot where they see two students wearing blue uniforms crying and yelling how their lives are doomed cause they failed at the advancement exam while on the other side a man is begging a security guard that he would give 10 million yen to them to reconsider his son's expulsion

Sai held Soma's left hand in fright as he looked forward and Soma looked at his front with sweat falling from his head while Jouricho who called them said "Oh,haven't I told you two?This school is Japan's top culinary school.With the graduation of less than 10%,it's a super-elite institution"

"Huh?Is that why there are students who are coming inside with butlers and bodyguards?" Soma says while looking around to which he notices students eyeing Sai like how a predator looks at its food,so he puts a protective hand around Sai's shoulder and hands the phone to Sai

"And...where are you...Jou-san?" Sai asks to which Jouricho says "Oh so it's Sai who is speaking well since it's an elite school there are a lot of rich people and currently I'm in New York City and I am also thinking of traveling along the east coast.So I hope you two can stand in this school for the next three years or else tell Soma that surpassing me is a pipe dream.And Sai,I'm sure Amai is also happy that you joined the school.Do well in the entrance exam" making Sai widen his eyes a little bit before Jouricho could continue speaking,Soma ended the call cause he was angry at what his father said about his dream and continued walking with Sai
