i recommend watching the video above- it's extremely helpful! (if it's not loading for you, it's a tutorial for how to draw simple dragon eyes by Biohazardia on YT) so my eyes are usually very small, so i don toften add a whole lot of detail. for example, this is an eye from a fullbody:

even there, i probably added too much detail lol so really don't worry too much about your eyes, especially if you're drawing a fullbody.
but on to the tutorial:
first draw a lemon-like shape (make sure it's flatter on the bottom):

add the outline of a pupil and open a layer underneath this first one:
