I grabbed the dress from my mom and marched upstairs. Tears dropping from My eyes. So this is how she wants to play right? Game on!

I went into my room and changed into that disgusting dress

I went downstairs but before that, i went into my moms room and took my phone back. She kept it on her dresser. I didnt bother hiding it from her.

"Good. Now you look like a normal human being" my mom said after seeing me.

She handed over her credit card and told me the pin code.

"Maggy is allowed to choose any dress she wants no matter the price."

She ordered an uber for us and we made our way out. Before we left she stopped me.

"Zoe what are you holding?"

I turned to face her. "My phone"

"I dont remember giving it back to you" she said

"I don't remember asking "

I shut the door behind me and we made our way into the uber that was parked in front of our house.
