Chapter 49: 7 Years Later

Romeo's POV
Depressed. Yes. That word should expresses my feelings that started from 7 years ago, growing every single day as I grow older. This day, marks exactly 7 years. 7 years after Acnologia attacked Tenrou Island. 7 years after Natsu-Nii, y/n-Nee and the rest of em "died".

I still can't believe it.

I clenched my fists when I heard my dad and Wakaba talking about how I've not smiled since that terrible day.

"Dad? I'm going out for a while." I said to him and he nodded after reminding me to be careful.

The once cheerful, party guild was now quiet. Much more quiet without people starting fights. Those who joined just because of fame left not long after their disappearance.

There wasn't many people left in the guild, and all we had left was a small worn out building quite some distance from the town center, where we used to be.

"Twilight Ogre... You're gonna pay. I'll make sure of it." I walked through the forest where Natsu-Nii used to play with me.

Twilight Ogre appeared 2 years after their disappearance and my dad borrowed money from them to keep the guild going. But the jobs that we had left wasn't enough to keep us going, and we couldn't pay the debts. That guild has now taken over our old guildhall.

Bisca's POV
Asuka, Alzack and I were hanging round the guild when we heard some ruckus.

Going outside, it was Christina, the Blue Pegasus guild's magic transport.

Hibiki, Eve and Ren had a perfect landing while Ichiya tried to but failed miserably by falling flat on his face.

"We've tracked trails of etherion near where Tenrou Island was last seen!"

After they told us the details, Alzack, Asuka Jet, Droy, Max and I decided that we went to find them, filled with hope and joy. Originally,we planned to bring Romeo along. However, he was no where to be found.

"Mommy! Mommy! Am I going to see Natsu-San?! And Y/n-Chan?! And! And!" Al and I laughed at her overexcitement.

"Asuka, calm down now~" I cooed as I carried her, Al putting an arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him.

"Honey, you think we're gonna find them?" He asked.

"... We will. I'm sure of it."

Timeskip
We were in the middle of the ocean, close to where Tenrou Island was last seen, but couldn't see even a soul, let alone an island.

"What's that?!" Max yelled, pointing to a fading figure in the slight fog.

"It's... Floating! On the water!" Jet and Droy were both, shocked as well.

(Well, anyone would be. Lol. I'm just not in the right state of mind right now. Tired T^T)

"Follow it! It might lead us somewhere!"

An amazing sight unfolded itself in front of us as the island that was once claimed destroyed reemerged right before our eyes, the figure from before on top of the dome like barrier that formed around Tenrou Island.

"Whoa!!!!" Asuka's eyes gleamed with excitement and curiosity.

Setting foot on the guild's sacred land, we walked a short distance into the forest until we saw a tuff of pink.

"Natsu!" We were all happy to see him but he wasn't moving, so it was hard to see if he were dead or alive.

"Natsu! Wake up!... Natsu!" After Droy shook him hardly, he jerked awake and looked around frantically.
