Chapter 38: The battle against the Sun and the Moon

Narrator pov

Naruko landed on Hashirama head at the valley end and looked in-front. Sasuke was on Madara's head and he was facing the other way. Naruko breathed heavily clutching her jacket because her heart ached. "Sasuke!" She yelled as he turned around. "Naruko..." Naruko gasped when she saw his eyes. One of them was normal but the other had black markings around it the pupils was yellow and it was just black around it. "A hopeless knucklehead." Naruko clutched her jacket harder. "Like I already told Sakura it's over leave me alone." "So this is how far you've gone to avenge your clan huh?" Naruko growled glaring at her teammate. "What do you know?" He spat glaring at her. "You don't know what it's like to lose someone important to you." He started to walk away. Naruko jumped off of Hashirama head and tackled Sasuke. "I may of not lose multiple people but I know what it's like to be alone and lose a person you love!" She shouted gripping his collar. "If someone's had being alone worse it's me! The whole village fucking hates me Sasuke all I had was jiji, Iruka Sensei, Choji and Shikamaru heck I lost jiji a few weeks ago! And now..." She shouted trailing off making his eyes widen. "I'm about to lose you too if you don't stop!" Sasuke pushed her off of him. Naruko hit the rocky surface of Madara's head hard as Sasuke stood over her. "If you insist on getting in my way...I'll kill you..." He said grabbing Naruko's neck and gripping it. He walked closer to the edge as Naruko was squirming in his grip while struggling to breath. He then punched her in the stomach as she spat out blood and fell off of Madara's head into the water. Sasuke looked at his hand clouding his thoughts while grinning evilly. "I can feel the power flowing within me..." He thought. "Just wait until I unseal curse mark..." The black markings on his face went back into his seal and his eyes turned back into normal.

Naruko sunk deeper into the water. "H-He was n-never this s-strong before..." She thought while her stomach ached where he  punched her out. She realized she was running out of air and swam up. She focused her chakra into her knees and breath as she breathed heavily and on her knees on top of the water. Sasuke stared at her smirking. She glared at him before running at him and exchanged blows with him before he kicked her in her cheek sending her back. Her punch fell off and sank into the water as she also fell in. "Can't you see this is the power I've been needing my entire life!" He exclaimed. Naruko stumbled onto the rocky surface that was behind Madara's head. Naruko gritted her teeth before bouncing off of it and going to punch Sasuke. He grabbed his wires from his punch and wrapped them on shirukens before throwing them at Naruko. She saw this and tried to dodged only for one to send her flying to the rock at the bottom and the shirukens wrapping her up in it.

Sasuke watched as she struggled for get free from the wires. He hummed before putting his hands in a sign. "Fire style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" He breathed a fire came out of his mouth and traveled down the wires hitting the rock Naruko was on. He watched the fire burn for a second before he heard a voice behind him. "Behind you." Sasuke turned around as Naruko punched him in the face but he didn't budge he just smirked. "Let me show you the true power of the Sharingan." Naruko summoned shadow clones as they all tried to strike Sasuke but he dodged and hit them all one by one before he got to the real Naruko and grabbed her wrist. He gripped it hard making her wince. "You're just as foolish as you were back in the Academy." He whispered in her ear making her eyes widen. She jumped back from him as he followed her and through punches at her as she blocked it. "I wanna see the power of the Hyperactive Knucklehead Ninja!"

He shouted as he managed to punch where her heart was making her cough up blood and fell into the water. She sank deep into it before she opened her eyes and came up coughing up water. "W-Why are we even fighting Dattebayo!" She yelled at him. "Because you're a friend you're in my way." He replied. Naruko grunted before running up the Madara's statue toward Sasuke as Sasuke was running down the statue towards Naruko. They exchanged blows as Sasuke threw a Kunai at her and she threw a Shiruken at him. They both hit each other and flew into the sky as Naruko and Sasuke jumped back from each other. Sasuke formed the Chidori in his hand as Naruko formed the Rasengan in her hand. They ran at each other and slammed them into each other causing them both to fly back into the water.

Sasuke got out of the water immediately breathing heavily before Naruko floated up from the water. Her ocean blue eyes were sad and she looked over at Sasuke who was glaring at her he had black markings all over him guessing it came from his curse mark. She couldn't find the courage to move so Sasuke walked up to her and pulled her up gripping her collar. He put his other arm out and formed the Chidori while gripping Naruko's collar harder. "M-Maybe I'm c-crazy for s-still loving H-Him 'Ttbayo" She thought staring at Sasuke while losing air. Red chakra started forming around her as her teeth grew sharper and her nails grew. "You're too late!" He shouted slamming his Chidori in her. She coughed up blood while still struggling in his grip. Losing her consciousness and the Kyuubi taking over. "You're finished." Sasuke said gripping her neck harder while taking his chidori out. 'Naruko' grabbed Sasuke's wrist and gripped it making him scream in pain and jump back from 'her'. 'She' stepped onto the water and slouched a bit as the red chakra swirled around 'her'. "What is this power?" He thought as he stared as the blondes jacket came undone and 'her' hair flew out of 'her' pigtails and became more spiky. "ILL KILL YOU FOR HURTING MY JAILOR!" 'She' roared running around Sasuke on her knees. Sasuke dodged as 'she' tried to slash him with 'her' long nails. 'She' roared again making Sasuke jump back from 'her'. "WHY ARE YOU DODGING UCHIHA?!" 'She' boomed. "That's can't be Naruko..." Sasuke thought before 'she' punched him in the stomach making him fly into the rocky wall. 'Naruko' managed to regain consciousness before jumping to the hole Sasuke she threw Sasuke. "Come on let's go home Sasuke." She said as Sasuke opened his eyes. "Just shut up!" He yelled as he tackled her as they both fell into the water. They fought underwater before Naruko was thrown into a rocky wall. "Naruko!" Sasuke yelled running at her. She stood their as a red cloak started to form around her body forming a tail on her head and a tail behind her. She roared before running up to Sasuke and punching him in the cheek causing him to fly back. "That burned..." He thought jumping up on Madara's head. Naruko did the same but on Hashirama head as her tail swung behind her. Sasuke put his hand over his arm forming the chidori in his hand. Naruko held her hand out forming the Rasengan in her hand. They bounced of the heads and flew at each other. Naruko's emotions got the best of her so she stopped her Rasengan and let the chidori strike her chest. Sasuke looked in horror as Naruko fell onto the rocky ground. His headband suddenly scratched on the middle making him take it off and look at it confused. He looked down at Naruko before dropping his headband next to her and leaving her.

Kakashi arrived at the scene later and looked in horror seeing his blonde student with a hole in her chest. "Naruko!"
