Haleigh Richardson was new to South Middle, she didn't know anybody. During her first say she had already been noticed by the popular girls. They bullied her because she was new and didn't have any friends to sit next to during lunch. But little did she know that there was a boy that noticed her being bullied. At recess he walked up to her and said "Hey, my name is Jack. Welcome to South Middle."
"I don't really feel welcomed." she said back harshly.
"I noticed that you met the popular girls at lunch." he said kindly.
"Oh, yeah..." she said scared.
"Want to be friends?" he asked calmly.
"Sure." she said worried.
And from that day on, Jack sat next to her to keep the bullies away.
