Distance is how some define space, but with Aaliyah. Distance is how you define not feeling connected anymore. and that's exactly how her and Erik were feeling.

It's been 2 weeks since Erik cancelled on Aaliyah. 2 weeks since Aaliyah found out that she's not pregnant.. yet at least. 2 weeks since Erik talked to anybody. and 2 weeks since Aaliyah found out that she would be going back to Wakanda with the rest of the recreations today.

A'Esha was family so she's coming and of course Normani would be going. We have to stay for about 6 months then we will come back. Luckily we still can do our classes online because the semester starts back up in about 2 months.

Eventful ass summer.

All 7 of us in that plane on our way to wakanda is pure comedy. T'Challa just continued to laugh at us, Okoye just tried to get is home faster.

I haven't been back since I was 6, though I kept in contact with everybody. A chill ran through my body. I zoned out so long thinking about everything between me and Erik that I didn't even realize we landed.

All of the recreations stepped off the plane according to age. Everybody cheered seeing as though the recreations are back.

I just waved and smile. When I seen my dad, I ran and hugged him. I haven't seen him , in person, in years. He had a huge smile and hugged me back like he didn't want me to ever leave and the feeling was reciprocated.

Once the crowd settled down, Queen Mother took all of the recreations to the Battle falls and everybody got in their seats with the rest of their tribe surrounded by them.

We stood next to each other before Queen mother and T'challa stood in front of us. "We are here to announce that the recreations are back, and will be staying" she said, it caught me off guard.

I miss wakanda and all but I love America. I didn't even notice people walking up to hug us until somebody walked up on me.

I'm not use to seeing different faces, I almost did something but Bast touched me. Didn't even know she was behind me.

The recreations can see her not everybody else. Hanuman soon followed. We can't draw attention as if they are here. they whispered "Welcome Back" before leaving again.

As the day went by, I stayed in my room that I now have to redecorate but it's fine. A'Esha came in my room and flopped on my bed before propping herself on my bed. "Hi little Miss Celebrity" she said.

I laughed before continuing to pack my clothes. "Girl i wish" .

"Ain't no wakanda clubs here? We can celebrate , since apparently we are staying in Wakanda" she stated.

I looked back and sat on the edge of my bed, "I don't like that shit, I was told 6 months... not for good. Hate they sneaky asses" I stated a tad bit annoyed that I got tricked.

"Im going to miss America but Aaliyah look at this place.. I rather be here." She stated.

My phone went off and I looked at it before ignoring the text.

Erik: Li , im Sorry.

I rolled my eyes and then continued unpacking my clothes before answering A'Esha question. "Yeah they're, we can go."

That was the last thing I remember from last night.

I was awoken from my nap by Shuri. "Aaliyah there's an intruder here". She relayed the message back to the rest of the recreations and just like that the real protectors of Wakanda was back and in duty. Great.

We walked in the meeting room and there Erik stood... even better.

Zaria hid behind me while Brittany stepped in front of the Queen. The Dora's was protected the other 2 and I was just starring and holding onto Zaria.

He winked at my before challenging T'Challa.... this nigga has lost his damn mind what the fuck is going on.

T'Challa later accepted and they decide to speed up the battle. So in 2 hours these niggas gon be fighting.

I went back to my room and put on some clothes before going to the battle falls. The whole way there , Bast tried to calm down the recreations. Really it was me but all of us.

My dad announced them to fight and everything happened in a blur. Erik got hit, T'Challa got thrown off the cliff, Nakia, Shuri, & Queen Mother left. Erik was now King...

Erik killed my dad.
