You were lounging on the couch of the recording studio, watching your husband, Roger, as he prepared to start recording for his first solo album. He hasn't done much solo work before in the past, but for the past couple of months, he's been working harder than he ever has working on his songs. So of course, you wanted to be there to support him.
But you didn't mind it one bit. He would always take small glances at you during small breaks, giving you a cheeky wink every time you caught his eye. It definitely helped pass the time. But you also loved hearing Roger's voice, it was always very soothing to you.
"You doing alright there love?" Roger questioned as he looked over at you, lighting a cigarette, moving it to his lips before blowing out a puff of smoke.
"Just wonderful." You said with a quiet laugh, causing Roger to smile as he did so.
He winked at you once more, pushing his headphones back up to continue on his album as you watched lovingly.
