CHAPTER 53✓

Daisy POV:

"Hello baby where are you" I said.

"Amor sorry I forgot to call but I wouldn't be home till twelve so eat and go to bed" he said.

Why? Are you ok? I asked scared .

"Yes am fine I just have some work to do "he said.

"But_. "
I didn't get complete my sentence as he cut me off.

"Amor I have to go . Goodnight and sleep I will see you in the morning I love you bye. "He said and cut the call.

He seemed angry which made me sad . I couldn't eat my food feeling sad because Dalziel and I always had dinner together .
I went to bed straight .

I woke up  in the morning  expecting to see Dalziel but his side of the bed  was empty just like before meaning he didn't sleep on the bed  or did he even come home . Worry was all that I was feeling.

I quickly freshen up and headed downstairs calling Dalziel  but  he didn't pick my calls. I checked his study room but he wasn't there either. I called Dorothy immediately she appeared .

"Did Dalziel come home yesterday night  " I asked.

"No but he sent some guards to come duty yesterday night and today morning" she said .

"Why"?? I asked.

"Daisy dear I don't know why "she said.

I ate breakfast  alone and sad worrying what was wrong with him. After breakfast I dressed and headed out but a big scary body guard stopped me. As there also other men in Black around the house

"Excuse me madam where to"?? He asked .

" Am heading out  " I said .

"Ok please let get the car ready " he asked politely.

Oh no need am ok  I said.

"But sir sent us here to guard and protect the house and you." He said.

"Don't worry I will be  fine on my own " I said.

He looked unsure   .
"Madam I love my job and the pay is good so I don't want to lose it  let me accompany you "he said.

"No need where am  going there are  guards there so they don't need an addition" I said smiling  and walked away. I stood there waiting for the Uber where it arrived I sit inside  heading to Maya's place . My phone blinked indicated there was a message I opened it thinking it was Dalziel but was an unknown number.

"You never fail to look sexy and beautiful at the same time my beautiful Daisy that blue dress you are wearing tempts me to rip it of. Sweet kiss to you my love. 😘💓💓💓💋"

I read the message confused I was wearing and blue dress right now or was someone watching me. Or was it Dalziel playing a prank on me. When Dalziel comes home I will show him the message. I got out of the car with confusion as I entered Maya's place.

The moment I was her I forget about the strange message as we started chatting and baking chocolate cake. So I spent another peaceful day with Maya .I walked out of the estate to see the Uber waiting for me. Wow that was fast. I sat inside and wave Maya as the car move . I was busy playing a game on my phone when I smelt something making me feel dizzy. I turned to the driver to see him with as nose mask .

,"Ummmm..... what's that smell ??" I asked him trying to cover my nose as he increased the speed on the car . Soon my vision became blur as closed as I was trying to keep them opened.
