"Would that be all?" asks the young coffee shop employee.

"Yeah," Finn replies.

"Okay. Your total is four dollars and eight cents," she says with a sweet smile.

He hands her a five dollar bill, and she hands him his change.

"It'll be right up," she says with a flirtatious wink.

Finn just nods as she walks away.

"Get her number, mate," Henry says.

"She's cute," Danny comments.

"I'm not interested," Finn says.

"C'mon. She's interested in you," Rian urges.

The boys do their best to push him towards the coffee shop girl. They point out her smile, her eyes, her characteristics, and everything they can.

"I said no," Finn says harshly.

"Okay. We're just trying to help," Ben says.

"Here you go," says the girl as she hands Finn his drink.

"Thanks," he says.

"Are you doing anything later?" she asks before he could walk away.

"I'm doing a show later. I'm in a band," Finn says as he takes a sip of his drink.

"Oh," she says flatly. "Are you doing anything later this week?"

"We're leaving Boston tomorrow morning," he says trying to get away.

"Then how about I give you my number?"

"No," he plainly says.

"Finn," Danny whispers, "Don't be so rude."

"I fucking said I'm not interested. Dammit. Do you guys even listen?" he asks loudly.

"Finnegan George Chapman!" Danny exclaims.

"It's okay," the girl says, "I'm a pretty busy girl anyways. Have a good show, guys."

They watch as she walks into the back of the shop, nearly in tears.

There is an awkward pause. No one moves. No one says a word.

"Let's just get back to the stadium," Danny says to break the silence.

Everyone mumbles their agreement.

As they move towards the door, Finn's mind begins to beat itself up.

I didn't mean to snap. I didn't mean to be rude. I didn't mean to give a hint to my dilemma. I didn't mean to unravel. I just didn't mean to.
