Months after opening their first wave of auditions, it seems Arcade Entertainment is gearing up to let their trainees hit the stage! Today they posted what seems to be a teaser image on their official Instagram, leaving fans wondering what 'Challenger' could be.
Thankfully they didn't have to wait too long for updates, as Arcade shortly coordinated a press conference where they were quick to answer questions.
"Challenger is a rotational co-ed predebut project to showcase our highly talented trainees, similar to the SMRookies model. Every few months we will select a group of our top trainees to release 3 songs," CEO Park Hyungsik explained in the conference.
"After trainees participate in a Challenger release they will prepare to properly debut with their respective groups. The members of each group are hand-selected by the mentors and have a lot to offer, not only as individuals but as a team."
When asked about Arcade's first debut Hyungsik simply smiled and told fans that they would have to wait, or else it wouldn't be a surprise. We're definitely excited to see what Arcade Entertainment has to offer!
