DS9. Ezri x Julian - Moving In

Ezri rifled through the pile of clothes sitting on top of Julian's dresser and huffed. "Have you seen my bra?"

Julian poked his head out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth. He shrugged. "Check the floor?" he asked through a mouthful of toothpaste. He smiled softly at his girlfriend, half dressed, looking quite frustrated.

Ezri looked around the bedroom and finally, she spotted her bra hiding beneath the bed. "You need to stop just throwing this randomly," she said as she put it on.

Julian smirked and went back into the bathroom to rinse his mouth. When he returned, Ezri was fully clothed. "Would you rather me pause in the midst of our kissing so I can neatly fold it for you?" he teased, kissing her cheek.

She smiled softly. "No, I guess not."

"You know, mornings like this would be much easier if you had more than two uniforms in my quarters," Julian mused.

"Yeah, that would be better," she said, the idea behind Julian's comment going right over Ezri's head.

"Like, say, if you had your entire wardrobe here," he said, raising his eyebrows as he hoped she would understand what he was hinting at.

Ezri's brow furrowed momentarily, then her eyes widened. Her mouth opened agape for a moment before she said, "Julian, are you trying to ask me to move in with you?"

Julian smiled softly. "If you want to. I don't want you to feel like I'm pressuring you into it or anything."

She took his hands in hers and moved closer. "I would love to move in with you."

"Yeah?" Julian asked, smile widening.

Ezri nodded and kissed him softly. "Tell you what, why don't we talk to Benjamin about it after our shifts and then we can start to bring some of my stuff here?"

He nodded and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Nothing would make me happier than to wake up to your beautiful face every morning."

"I love you," she murmured, a wide smile spread across her face.

"And I love you," he replied before connecting his lips with hers.
