Damian decided to leave and to refuse the opportunity of immortality. He wanted to do many things as human before he surrenders to the deep green liquid. Talk to Sheila, for example, and buy a new computer game that he glazed upon last month. As he decided to leave, the green liquid that they were immersed into started to vanish and he could see many exits from it. He wouldn't be able to find his way back without a help of one Creature of the Past, who led him to the Sheila's backyard once again.
He said goodbye to his best friend Owen, who accepted the transfer, since his life among the humans was so degrading so far that he knew: it will only get worse, as he would get older. To provide help for him, if he would ever needed an exit, Damian left his key on the door to the world where they lived so far.
A small letter D and a bicycle at a key chain will show him the way back.
