(song) your pov:

i groan and kick my feet as i reach out for my fluffy pillow to cuddle with but i soon whine as i realize i threw it in the middle of my sleep, frustrated by my dreams.

images of a boy with hazel, shiny eyes flood my brain and i can't help but fall in love with him as every second passes by.

"get out of my fucking brain for god's sake!" i shout out into my quiet apartment

my room door is opened fast as i see my roommate running in. she chuckles at my distressed face and places her hand on my wooden door, putting all her weight on her left hand.

"the dreams made a comeback, hm?" she asks

"they never left jen." i murmur, rubbing my eyes and praying that the sleep from my eyes would vanish

"i would love to meet this guy. i mean, he's the only person to make you go this crazy." jen chuckles, walking over to my bed to sit on the edge

"you think this is so funny, don't you?" i glare at my roommate as she just shrugs and twirls her finger in her messy bed hair

"maybe you should talk to your therapist about it. i mean you've been seeing her for a year and you've been having these dreams for over a year. isn't it time?"

"she's gonna think i'm going insane." i whisper, disappointment laced throughout my words

"no she won't. not every therapist is like that. i know her. she'll believe you, trust me." jen reassures

"so... what's this boy's name?"

i twiddle my fingers and keep my head down as my heart race quickens, images of the boy flooding my brain.

"i'm not sure but i do know he has a name that starts with an 'e'." i state

my therapist chuckles softly to herself and writes down some quick notes on her notepad.

this action makes my eyebrows furrow and i straighten my posture on the bright yellow sofa, crossing my arms over my lap.

"why that reaction?" i ask curiously

"sounds like this boy has really made an impact on you."

"impact?" i think to myself

"w-what do you mean?" i chuckle nervously

"honey. all of you can think about is him. are you sure you've never met him? i mean, he has a strong effect on you."

"no. never. no one looks that perfect." i whisper

"well, hopefully you can meet him soon."

"i hope i can. but right now he stays in my dreams." i drop my head down to stare at my torn up black vans
