"Come on Athena we have to get to the gates Miranda is waiting for us." Simon said as they made their way through the dungeons.
"What's happening out there?" Athena asked.
"It's not safe here anymore now hurry up!" Simon shouted.
Athena came to a sudden halt before gasping loudly as they made it to the gate.
"What happened?" she asked barely above a whisper. After seeing the great amount of lifeless bodies that were everywhere. The innocence that their kingdom once held was no longer there. Athena watched as the once precious creatures were killed in cold blood. And as the mages continued releasing explosions.
"Let's move people!" Miranda shouted as she walked through the gates of her kingdom. A single tear escaped Athena's eyes as Simon squeezed her hand softly. Before they both followed Miranda through the gates and into the forest. As if on cue they all turned their heads in the direction of their kingdom. Upon hearing another explosion one that was much louder than the others before.
There was smoke everywhere, Neuschwanstein, a castle, located in Schwangau, a kingdom in Germany. Which was specifically known for it's beauty. And the precious creatures that once lived behind its walls. Ever since the death of their beloved king Aslan and the Elders disappearance. Their kingdom has yet to experience a day of peace and joy.
