Phone Call
“Landon, Nasan ka na ba? Nandito na ang Bustamante at Sanchez.” Dad said in his eagerness tone. Oh, please. I'm with Danny and her family!
“Sorry, Dad! I'm with my girlfriend. Besides, I'm not ready to face them. It's not the right time. Just talk to them for me.”
“Landon! I need you here.”
“But Dad. .”
“You are my son, Nate! The future of the company. ” he reminded and the line went dead.
Napakamot ako sa ulo ko. I don't want to leave Daniella. He needs me. Nauna na siya maglakad kaya ko siya hinabol.
“Bee!”
“What now?”
“Something urgent came up. I'm going back to Manila.”
I looked at her. Her teary eyes. C'mmon. Sino ba ang pipiliin ko? I don't want to see Danny crying because of the matter I need to attend.
“Is that really urgent, Lucas? It's our first trip together.” her tears started to fall. “Nevermind, I understand.”
Nauna na siya maglakad at iniwan niya ko. Dali-dali kong kinuha ang phone ko habang tinitignan siya maglakad papalayo.
To Dad:
I'm sorry, Dad! Cancel the appoinment. I don't want to leave Danny. If you don't want, just face them. Face them as the Flores company owner. I'm telling you this as your son, Dad. Not the future heir of Flores.
From Dad:
You really love that girl huh? Not make it worth it. Spend the rest of the day with her. Don't disappoint me this time, Nate.
Tinago ko ang phone ko at dumiretso agad ako kay Daniella. All of my wealth will soon disappear but not the person I love.
Danny's POV
Nakakainis siya! Hindi na nga niya ako pinapansin simula kanina tapos ngayon, babalik siya sa Manila? Ano bang urgent yun! Pangarap ko pa namang magkaroon ng First Trip together with my boyfriend tapos sisirain niya lang.
Pumasok ako sa room ko at nakita ko si Ate Ynna na nag-aayos. Ang swerte talaga ni Kuya sa kanya. Akala mo diwata dahil sa sobrang ganda.
“Oh Danny, Bakit ka umiiyak? Lagot tayo niyan sa kuya mo.” sabi ni Ate Ynna at niyakap niya ko.
“Kasi po. .” di ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko dahil may kumatok sa pinto. Sunod-sunod akala mo nira-raid kami!
“I'm going to open it for you. Just stay here.”
Pumunta si Ate Ynna sa pintuan at binuksan ang pinto. “I'm sorry for disturbing. Can I talk to my bee?”
