What happened? He inquires.
And I tell him.
I don't know why.
I just do. I do.
I tell him of my father, and how he died from a drug overdose five years ago.
I tell him of my mother, and how she may as well just be dead.
He tells me never to wish death upon anyone.
I tell him I don't mean it, but I do. I do.
Nevertheless, wishes don't come true. That's why it's called a wish, and not a request, or an order. Wishes are nothing but hopes. Like unanswered questions, they are only half of an undetermined equation.
