Blake was in the kitchen making breakfast when his father came out. He barely noticed him as he came in. He wasn't really paying attention to anything. A hand pulled him away from the stove and into a chair. He blinked a little bit before he fell asleep again. He was reawaken by the smell of food under his nose. He rubbed his eyes and looked up to see his dad holding a plate of food. He looked down as he took the plate and started eating. His father sat down beside him and they ate in silence. His father finally broke the silence.

"What did you want to talk to me about yesterday?" Blake reached into his pocket and pulled out yesterday's money. They didn't have the money to get new clothes so it was normal to be in the same clothes. He held it out.

"We can almost pay off one of the bills with this." His father's eyes lit up.

"Really? That's two possible bills! I just got another bill ready to pay. Lemme see." He looked over the money and smiled. He ruffled Blake's hair and smiled. "If you can get this amount today, we might be able to pay off all the bills!" Blake's eyes lit up as he stood up and saluted. "That's my boy! Go grab your things! We've got things to do!"

Whitley quickly went to the market. If the boy was the infamous ragdoll, then he would be at work. And her suspicions were right. He was running to who knows where. He was approaching the crowd of no pass. He took a deep breath and shouted.

"ARBEITSLINIE! GEH ZUR SEITE! SOFORT!"

They made a tunnel and let him through before closing the gap. She flew over it and saw him stop at a house. An elderly woman was waiting.

"Ah... Danke fürs Kommen. Die Post machte einen kleinen Spaziergang."

"Ich werde es bekommen. Es ist alles gut."

He went and grabbed the mail that was being dragged by the wind. He then went over and helped her through it. He seemed very gentle and patient with the lady. Even after that he helped her inside. He went out and was counting a small amount of cash that he must've earned. He then put it in his pocket and went to go find more work. He was rather calm and never said no to work. He didn't say no to anything. He received money as he helped and worked. But the one thing she did notice was he was always in the clouds. He ran into more people than she took down battles. Most of the things that happened was he either was smacked around or they had him do something. She wanted to meet his family. But eventually he went home. He went to a small hut. She couldn't believe it. There was a man waiting for him. He quickly counted the money. A smile crossed his face.

"We did it, Sohn Kumpel Junge. We can finally pay off the bills. Come on."

The boy smiled as they went to go do the payment. Whitley frowned. Something was off. There was a slight aggressiveness in the man's voice. She couldn't quite find it. They went back after the payment. It wasn't long before the man knocked the boy out. It shocked her after all his work. He dragged him inside and slammed the door. She growled a bit before teleporting to her room for bed. The letter was softly glowing. She froze upon it. She went to touch it, but it stopped. She was still missing something. But what? What was she missing. She gulped as she went to bed. She was almost there.

She went to go find him the next day. She found him, as well as Black. He was talking to one of the market workers. The same one that the boy was working at. No coincidence. He did this every once in a while. He noticed her and went over. She looked away.

"Ah... gnädige Frau Whitley. Can I get you something?"

"Nein."

"English is preferred. We might have to get married."
