It's near the end of Ginny Weasley's first year at Hogwarts. She has just made it out of the Chamber of Secrets, and is thankfully alive. Snape is just walking around the corridor, incredulous that 'Lily' would ever do something like open the Chamber of Secrets. They run into each other in the hallway.
Snape: (gasps) LILY, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!!!
Ginny: Oh here we go again. . . (tries to run away)
Snape: THIS IS SO UNLIKE YO---(eyes narrow) Wait, did someone curse you?
Ginny: Yes. An arrogant, handsome, teen from the past with black hair. (referring to Tom Riddle)
Snape: (bellows) JAMES!!!!! SO HE THINKS HE CAN STEAL YOU FROM ME BY MAKING ME THINK YOU'RE EVIL???!!!!!
Ginny: (sighs) Once again: eleven.
Snape: (calms down and looks at her lovingly) Don't worry, my love, I'll kill that SLUG James for you!
Ginny: Are you taking a new allergy medication or---?
Snape: How did he curse you?
Ginny: A diary.
Snape: (suddenly happy) James' diary?!! WHERE?!!! LEMME SEE!!! WHAT ARE HIS SECRETS???!!!
