Three kids grew up in separate homes all forge into their ambitions.
The girl, had lived with her aunt since her father took off somewhere after her mothers own disappearance had happened. Her aunt never stopped blaming her for it... The first boy, had lost his parent's. His aunt had told him his parents were drunks. He wonder if it was better to have no parents or parents that were alcoholics. The second boy, was a snob. Truly. He grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, it's been their since before he was born. Yet, he questioned everything he learned every-time he learned it. Sometimes he wonder if he was being force feed his bigotry or if he was genuinely supposed to believe what his parents told him. He bet his parents barely believed it.
The children longed for approval from adult figures & peers. Their chest ached as they watched other children make their parents & teachers proud. They watched sadly as the other students made friends who promised real friendship forever.
In the end, the desire of approval burned out. Those desires changed. In a way it pushed them for the ambition they would soon need.
