Chapter 3 - Well Crap

A/N: So this chapter isn't going to follow exactly what happens in the episode, actually a few chapters might be like this. You don't need to comment about how this isn't how it went because chances are I already know it isn't correct. It just fits the plot of this story better and makes it easier for me to just type instead of re-watching the episode a million times to get it right. Also I skipped an episode or two because I didn't think it was too important to the plot of this book. Last but not least, the translation to the Trigedasleng is at the bottom. If the translation is inconWith that, let's continue!

It's been a few days and we've monitored these sky people pretty closely since they've made their appearance. They're aware we're here now too, they got goggle boy back in one piece, but Lincoln tells me he can hear his groans and yells of pain from his hut. He doesn't think goggle boy will last too much longer. 

"Wanheda! Sky people are marching way into our territory! They look mad and appear to be armed!" One of my warriors tell me. 

"Then round up the others and kill them off if possible." I see my brother urgently heading towards me in the corner of my eye, "I'll catch up with you in a second." The warrior nods and runs off to get the others and head out. Lincoln grabs my arm and pulls me with him a little ways away from everyone in the village. I turn to him, "What is it? I'm about to-"

"You need to come with me." He cuts me off, "It's urgent."

"Lincoln I can't!"

"Kai it's important!"

"More important than making sure the sky people don't find the village and possibly harm people and destroy everything!?"

"Yes!"

"I highly doubt that brother, I understand we're blood and everything, but I can't just drop everything and go with you, especially when there's innocent lives potentially at risk." I turn around and start walking back to my hut to get my armor.

"I know why the sky people are angry!" I hear him call. I stop walking and slowly turn around.

"Come with me, and I can show you." I look at him for a second before hesitantly nodding and quickly following him through the woods in the direction of his hut.

We arrive at his hut and he stops me from going in and moves me a few steps back before speaking in a hushed tone, "Before we go in there, I want to tell you I know what it looks like and I know you'll be furious but we must speak in Trigedasleng." I look at him weirdly before nodding.

He sighs and enters his hut with me closely behind. He steps aside a little so I can see what's there.

In front of me is a girl, no older than 17, hands tied above her head. She looks at both of us with wide eyes.

This isn't a random girl, this is a girl from the sky people.

I'm beyond furious right now. I can't even get words out. Why would Lincoln kidnap a girl from the sky people!? When he knows they'll probably blame us for the disappearance? This is why they're angry and armed! They want her back!

"Ke wu yu teik shai!? em's a skai raunon en disha ste ke emo're attacking! osir nao kom tuk shai urk-" I was cut off by Lincoln for the second time today.

"No osir laik nou tukis shai urk." He says firmly, "Em ste hotr. Bilaik ste uip ai tak shai ino basta pui. Emo don strik kom nothing kom sis em au. Beja teik me sis em au kai, beja." 

I've never heard Lincoln plead with anyone before, let alone me. I sigh, "Yu kongru con gon shai, en pou haks shai gon bunta kom em un goin huntu yu muk em poik..." Lincoln continues to stare at me, "Fukai, chit don yu woku mai kom dot." I grumble. He beams at me. 

"Yu're juga ste kom maku uit em dou nou tru kom balisk lieg igo ge yow mo comu." I sigh but nod and grumble to myself, what did I get myself into?

Lincoln pats my head before heading out to probably the groves to get more medicine. I stand outside of my brother's hut and stay alert as I wait for his return. 

After about 30 minutes Lincoln still hasn't returned. I'm scraping sticks together to pass the time when I hear a grunt. I stand up immediately, grabbing my bow and loading it with an arrow.

I hear frantic leaves crunching going off in the distance. I go around the back of Lincoln's hut and see the girl running off. 

I chase after her but she's fast, I growl, aim my bow, and shoot. The girl goes down immediately with a cry of pain. I walk up to her as she continues to cry out, damn it's just an arrow to the leg, you'll live quit being a baby. I grab her by the arms and drag her back into the hut as she tries to struggle. I tie her back up, this time really tight and sit down in front of her. Not long after, Lincoln returns.

"Chit diiu yu dom kom shai!?" He yelled as he rushed to the girl and started assessing her wound.

"Repate, em tru kom upa cof son ai pata shai en broka shai bemo, em'll vivl." I scoff. He glares at me and then slowly pulls out the arrow. The girl screams in pain. I roll my eyes. 

"Ge ata!" He yells. I walk out and decide to keep watch again while I hear the girls screaming inside.

"OCTAVIA," I hear a mans voice yell in the distance. It's a sky person, I'm sure of it. I run back inside the hut where the girl, who I assume is named Octavia, is still wailing loudly.

"Skai kru laik nie! seku shai pua!" I yell harshly. Lincoln's eyes go wide and he quickly tries to gently shush her but then I hear it again.

"OCTAVIA!" The girl perks up a bit and starts smiling and crying a bit.

"BELLAMY! I'M HERE!" She yells before I get the chance to cover her mouth. It's too late, I hear the crunching of leaves getting closer. I quickly hand Lincoln one of my poisoned arrows for a weapon and he takes it gladly. 

Four people rush into the hut, I don't recognize the girl but I recognize the three guys as the supposed leader, goggle boy, and their tracker. They see the girl tied up behind me and Lincoln and they start trying to attack us. I start fighting goggle boy, clearly winning, while Lincoln tried to fight the two other boys off. The extra girl goes out of the hut, I'm guessing to make sure not another trikru warrior comes.

 I hear Lincoln cry out in pain and turn towards him. The Octavia girl hit him over the head with her chains and now he's on the ground! I feel a sharp pain in the back of my head and fall to the ground too. I quickly try to crawl towards my quiver with poisoned arrows when someone steps on my arm. I yelp and groan then feel something hit my head hard. My vision goes blurry but I see Lincoln get up and stab one of the boys and start attacking another before everything goes dark. I pray my brother can get us out of this.

Ke wu yu teik shai!? em's a skai raunon en disha ste ke emo're attacking! osir nao kom tuk shai urk - Why would you take her!? she's a sky person! this iswhy they're attacking! We need to take her back-

No osir laik nou tukis shai urk. - No we are not taking her back

Em ste hotr. Bilaik ste uip ai tak shai ino basta pui. Emo don strik kom nothing kom sis em au. Beja teik me sis em au kai, beja. - She is hurt. That is why I took her in the first place. They have little to nothing to help her. Please let me help her Kai, please.

 Yu kongru con gon shai, en pou haks shai gon bunta kom em un goin huntu yu muk em poik... - You obviously care for her, and possibly having her go back to them in good health will make them happy...

 Fukai, chit don yu woku mai kom dot - Fine, what do you want me to do

Yu're juga ste kom maku uit em dou nou tru kom balisk lieg igo ge yow mo comu - You're job is to make sure she does not try to escape while I go get some more medicine.

Chit diiu yu dom kom shai!? - What did you do to her!?

Repate, em tru kom upa cof son ai pata shai en broka shai bemo, em'll vivl - Relax, she tried to run off so I shot her and brought her back, she'll live

Ge ata! - Get out!

Skai kru laik nie! seku shai pua! - Sky people are near! shut her up!
