whisper my name and tell me that i overthink
that the cosmos isn't going to explode on me
measure time for me, record every moment
i'm sick of holding on to the false hope of you
see through my eyes full of many sunflowers
do you feel lost and found like me this summer?
for i keep going back to the last one every day
i wonder which life should be cherished the most
dance with me the way you had once suggested
before the gravity falls off and i finally go haywire
i look through stained, tinted and frosted glasses
clear my vision before i mistake you for heaven
the rain falls when my heart feels like crying
but as you said, i can't break in front of them
so why do you keep coming back just to depart?
why do i write poems instead of war threats?
