illumine is a science fiction book set in 2575. the book is known for being extremely different then most other books instead of being line after line after line the words are everywhere. the story is told through voice calls and emails. if you are thinking about reading it be ready as it is 599 pages long you may think it is mainly world building or something and while yes it does have that it does it an interesting way slowly revealing its self slowly putting the character's into these situations and making you want to know how are they going to deal with these situations. this is the synopsis:

"the year is 2575 and two mega-corporations are at war over a planet that's little more than an ice covered speck. to bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it with enemy fire raining down on them Ezra and kady have to make their escape on the evacuating fleet. but their troubles are just beginning a deadly plague has broken out on one of the spaceships and it is mutating with terrifying results their ships protection is seriously flawed no one will say what is going on as kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth its only clear one person can help her Ezra the only problem with that is they jus split up before all this trouble started and she isn't supposed to be talking to him."

although it has swearing in it is kid friendly as they blur it out. the book was made in 2015 and written by amie Kaufman and jay kristoff I Highley recommend it but just to note if you have dyslexia you may find this very hard to read or not be able to read it at all but do not worry because it has an audio book which I cant really talk about as I have not listened to it.
