Magnus x Nad

Magnus's POV

I'm currently looking around for Nad, wanting to know more about Norse mythology.

It felt like I had been searching for hours and my legs had started to get tired. I sighed and flopped on to the ground.

'Where is he? '

Usually by now I would have found him sleeping or eating. He's not the easiest person to miss.

I mean he's like the size of a mountain and he has orange and white hair. That should be easy to find.

Though I haven't been able to find him at all. Why is it when I'm looking for something or someone I can't find them.

I sighed leaning my head against the tree.

'Ugggh why is this so difficult? '

"Hey Magnus"

I felt my eye twitch as I recognized the voice. I stood up spinning around to face him.

"Where have you been?"

"Here and there, ya know"

"How come I wasn't able to find you then"

"I don't know? Wait you were looking for me?"

"Yes"

"May I ask why?"

"I just wanted to know more about Norse mythology"

"Oh ok sure, let's go to the common room"

"Ok"

Nads POV

'Why do they want to know more about Norse mythology? '

We walked over to the common room and over to my piles of books. They sat down at the table while I grabbed a few books.

Once I grabbed the books I sat down with them.

"So what do you want to know?"

"What are the names of all of the 9 realms?"

"Oh well, there's Niflheim, Helheim, Asgard, Midgard, Vanaheim, Niðavellir, Jotunheim, Alfheim, and Muspelheim"

"I have no clue how to pronounce half of those"

I laughed,

"Well if you want I could teach you some Norse"

"Ok. So what is the purpose of each realm, I guess is my next question"

"Well Niflheim is the world of the dead, ruled by the Goddess Hel. In some accords it is the last of the nine worlds, in which evil men passed after reaching the region of death"

"Ohhhhh"

"Helheim is also ruled by Hel, it's the eighth in the spectrum of the nine realms. People who died of old age, disease, or weren't killed in battle go here"

"Ok, next one"

I nodded,

"Asgard is the dwelling place of the gods, similar to the Greeks Olympus. Legend divides it into 12 realms. It is the home of Odin and hero's who died in earthly battle"

I looked over to Magnus, finding they were asleep. I chuckled,

'They must be tired. Guess we'll continue later '

I closed the book Magnus had been flipping through as I spoke, bookmarking the page. I then carefully picked them up and went over to the couch.

I sat down, Magnus's head on my shoulder while the rest of their body was in my lap. I held them close to me, getting comfortable.

'This is nice '

I leaned my head back and fell asleep.
