Chapter 5

Bethany's POV
"Daddy" I yelled waking him up.

"Hey sweetheart" he said smiling at me.

He picked me up and I laid my head on his chest.

"Daddy" I asked.

"Yes sweetheart" he replied.

"Where did you go after you left mommy" I asked.

"Well sweetie daddy was a big dummy and made a lot of mistakes but I promise you daddy learned to do better and will always be there for you" he said.

"Pinky promise" I said lifting my pinky finger up to him.

"Pinky promise" he said wrapping his around mine.

I looked to the side to see mommy standing behind a wall.

"Hi mommy" I said making daddy look over at her.

"Hi babygirl" she said.

Daddy sat up and sat me down on his lap.

Mommy sat down beside us.

Megan's pov
When I heard their conversation it made me want to burst into tears.

I looked over at Jeff to see him looking back at me.

"Beth sweetie can you go to our room to pick out your outfit for today, me and your daddy need to talk" I told her.

"Okay mommy" she said getting up and walking to her room.

"So Jeff" I said.

"Yes Megs" he said making me smile.

Megs was a nickname he used to call me when we first started dating.

Damn it am I falling for him again?

He looked at me with those beautiful green eyes.

"You know I'm glad you were the one that gave me such a perfect daughter" he said.

"Wait what" I asked.

He grabbed my hands.

"She cheated on me" he said.

"Oh wow" I said.

I looked into his eyes before glancing down at his lips and then back up to his eyes to see him do the same.

We started to lean in before his lips pressed against mine.

Before the kiss could get heated we heard Beth yelling for me.

"Let me go get her dressed, I think we should get dressed too, the bathroom is just right down the hall" I told Jeff.

"Thanks" he said.

We all got dressed and as soon as I walked downstairs Jeff's jaw dropped.

"You still love that band" he said with a smile.

"Yup with all my heart" I said proudly.

"And Bethany you look absolutely adorable" he said picking her up.

"So who's ready for a day out" he asked.

"I am" Bethany yelled raising her little hand.

She's too cute for this world.

A couple hours later
Me and Jeff collapsed on a nearby bench and watched Bethany start to play on a playground.

"You okay" he asked me.

"Yeah, she has a lot of energy just like her daddy" I said making him chuckle.

"Only when I'm on an adrenaline rush" he replied.

A couple of minutes later we were walking to Jeff's car with a sleeping Bethany in Jeff's arms.

He put her in her car seat and managed to open my door for me before getting in himself.

"You didn't have to" I said.

He glanced at me while focusing on driving.

"I wanted to" he said.

I looked at Bethany before looking at him with a smile.

He could be back for good now.

It feels like the missing piece of our puzzle was finally found when I returned back to wwe.
