it was unexpected when bighit entertainment announced they would be debuting a girl group. glam has disbanded a year or so before, following the scandal and controversies.
it was rumoured that bighit had all of their female trainees leave, due to this. any prospects of a future girl group were thought to be far away in the future.
however on the final day of september, bighit released a faceless picture of five girls. and during the first ten days of october, two days apart, announcing each of the girl's name.
on the 16th of october the group name was announced, and their debut song and album titles and dates for their release were posted.
On the 31st of October, fever debuted as the second girl group under bighit. they didn't know it then, but they would take the world by storm, and join their seniors as they became the most popular and famous k-pop girl group.
