"Xie Keyin congratulations on your new project!" our manager says as she walks into the studio of the9, I looked at her?

"A solo project? Already?!" Shuxin added, our manager nods making the girls jump to me with joy,

"Congratulations Xie Xie!!" Yu Yan said I was still shocked I am, we just had our debut stage yesterday.

"What's the project?" I asked once everyone calmed down and sat to discuss, to be honest, I don't mind discussing it in front of them; we are a group after all.

"It's going to be a collaboration for a song, I didn't book it through... it was handpicked." She said,

"What do you mean handpicked?" I asked Xiaotang rolled her eyes,

"Keyin it means the artist chose you." The others laughed at me, I can be naïve at times,

"I know that but I just can't believe it."

"Oh come on Keyin, you're amazing at what you do," Yuxin said I pout they're so sweet

"No!" I said even though I was tearing up.

"Fine I won't," I said, our manager gave me papers, it was the lyrics of the song

I looked through it, it was in English.

"English?" I asked, she nods

"She's an American singer." She adds

"What? How did she know about me and the9?"

"She was on the show."

"Why don't you just tell me, you're killing me!" I said dramatically, making the others look at me while practicing some dance covers they're doing

"Y/N Jordan, she wants you to be the rapper of her song."

"The X mentor we had?" Yu Yan said smirking at me, the top 20 trainees were making fun of me because they think Y/N had a thing for me, she was always sweet and caring but they say that she's only like that with me.

"Yes! With you, she wants more time!" Jiaqi added

"Let's just be happy for Keyin, it's a big collaboration leave it at that." She said before sitting next to me

They all looked at Yuxin then at me before going back to what they were doing, thank God.

"It's nothing." She said I looked at our manager, who just got off the phone,

"Are you taking the project?"

"It's just a song," I told myself

"Yes I will," I said, she nods and gives me another set of papers

"That's going to be the schedule, if you have conflicts with the nine you won't be able to go."

"Why does it say 2 weeks?" I asked, I've done some collaborations and it didn't get finish within two weeks.
