I fanned my face as the cashier punched in my order. I was sweating like a pig even in the air-conditioned room.

It was humid outside and it didn't help that I was wearing an extra thick hoodie.

"Anything else, Ma'am?" the cashier asked with a practiced wide smile.

"Wala. Yun lang. Thanks," I abruptly answered and handed the lady a five hundred bill.

I removed my sling bag and placed it on the counter.

"Here's your change po."

The cashier got me pressured.

I was about to take a step to get away from the counter but I was halted when I saw that someone was standing on my way. Maliit na babae na nakaputing off shoulder white gown. Her hair was a beautiful rose gold and that's not weird at all. What's weird was that she's wearing a veil.

The girl ignored me. Or maybe she didn't hear me.

"Excuse me. Dadaan ako," I stated in a louder voice.

The girl finally turned.

My heart stopped when I saw the girl's face. The veil was thin enough for me to see the girl's face... and the blood streaming down her head.

Even in the girl's bloody state, her face brightened. "Nakikita mo ako?"
