Again, this is another old-ish one. Hope you like it!! It's called falling asleep.
Soon my thoughts will start to sway
My imagination is in disarray.
The thought that keep me up all night
Are the ones that give me no delight.
Even though I close my eyes
The darkness waits for me in disguise.
Instead of pushing it away
I try to let my thoughts portray
The feeling saying "I want to sleep"
Instead of waiting here to weep.
The darkness sighed and says to me
"I know you want to disagree,
But those thoughts that keep you up all night
Are your own depression giving you a fright.
So instead of having thoughts so deep,
You should try counting sheep.
Soon you'll find your thoughts subdue
To vivid dreams you get to view."
