I ran.

And ran.

And ran.

The cool night air surrounded me, allowing me to almost glide. I had gone insane again. I had hurt both of them. Which is why I ran. I would probably run until I collapsed.

Or in this case, tripped.

I went flying, hitting the ground and sliding on the ice. I flipped over, looking at the sky. "At least now Ian's safe from me...Derp Ssundee.. Whoever... He's safe now..." I said softly to myself. "He's safe." I suddenly noticed a voice.

"YOU!" a woman screamed, "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KILLED MY DAUGHTERS!" She ran up to me, slicing me up. I smiled as blood seeped out of my body, into the white snow.

"Thank you," I whispered, "He's safe now."

"What?" she asked in confusion.

"Find a man named Ian Ssundee. Tell him I'm dead. Tell him I'm sorry. Please," I whispered.

"Um...Okay?"

I stared into the sky, "I know you won't."

But she was gone.

And soon I was too.

...

I wasn't in heaven.

I wasn't in hell.

I was in a dark, cold place. I opened my eyes, looking around. I suddenly was hit with a large image. It was a woman talking to me..."-Derp Ssundee told me to tell you he's dead, and that he's sorry."

"No!" a familar voice cried.

It was Ian.

I was inside of Ian, watching everything he saw. "Ian!" I shouted, "I may be dead... But my soul, it's in your head!"

"Ian? Are you okay?" Crainer croaked, still bloody from the arrow I stuck in him.

"I have a splitting headache all of the sudden... I swore I heard Lucas's voice," he said. Crainer walked up, hugging him.

"You'll be okay," he whispered.

"This is my fault," Ian said, tiriedness coating his voice, "I shouldn't of left him..."

"Don't cry Ian," Crainer whispered.

"Crainer..." Ian whispered back, and he started to sob.

"Ian! Don't cry!" I screamed, "I'm just in your head now!"

"AHhhh," Ian screamed, falling too the ground.

"Ian?'' Crainer cried.

"I-I heard him again..." he whispered.

"Yes! You did! I'm here!" I yelled, "Don't ignore me Ian! Don't ignore me!"

"I hear you..." he whispered.

"Ian?" Crainer cried again, cuddling up next to him. "Say something!"

"He's in my head...He's a spirit..." Ian whispered, before his eyes shut, and the room in his head I was in turned black. I sighed. Would the whole night be like this? Suddenly a bright flash of light shown, and I was in my old room.

My room in the village.

Ian appeared as well. "Oh Lucas!" he said, running up to me. Then he backed away. "This is a dream, isn't it?"

I nodded.

He sighed. "I should of guessed," he said sadly.

"Look, you'll live a better life with me dead than me alive. And I have to say good bye to you. I can't stay in your head forever...So farewell my beloved brother..." I whispered.

"No! Lucas!" he said, running up to me, hugging me again. A sudden flash of light burst.

"IAN? What's happening?" I screamed. The roof broke, and everything darkened, until only stars sparkled in my vision. Suddenly a wave of pain hit me.

I was alive. I woman stood above me, electricity glowing in her palms. She ran her palms over my body, soothing magic fixing my cuts and wounds. "Who are you?" I asked.

"Melody. I'm a sorceress if you're wondering. But what happened to you anyways? You looked pretty beat up," she replied.

"I let someone kill me," I said. "But I regret it completely. I'm glad I get a second chance. I need to make amends with someone close to me. Can you help there?...I'm still a little weak." I stumbled as I tried to stand, and she caught me.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"Public enemy number one, Derp Ssundee," I replied.

"No, seriously, what's your name?" she asked.

"Lucas..." I replied.

"That's a nice name," she said, smiling. I smiled back, blushing a little. That's the first compliment I've heard in a very long time.

"Thanks," I whispered, "Melody is a beautiful name as well." She smiled, this time she was blushing. "And I love your violet eyes. I've never seen such beautiful eyes."

"I like yours too," she replied.

"Okay, I know that's a lie. My eyes are hideous. Crossed and stupid looking," I said.

"What?" she asked, "They're not ugly at all. And they're not that crossed! Such a pretty blue to." I fell to the ground, looking into the ice. I looked into my reflection. The red had faded. My eyes weren't as crossed. It was amazing!

"Did you fix them?" I asked.

"Not that I'm aware of..." she replied. I stood back up.

"Well, thanks anyways..." I said, smiling and blushing more. Suddenly I saw firelight. "We're almost there!" I exclaimed. She smiled, and we started to run. "IAN!" I shouted. On the log sat Ian, cuddling close to Crainer. His eyes were red, and his face was covered in tears. I ran up to him, locking him into a hug.

"Y-You're alive?" he exclaimed.

"Yes Ian! I'm alive!" I cried, and we hugged for a long while.

Finally we seperated, and discussed building a house in these woods. They are rather nice after all.
