I entered the ALL’s building on a mission and I could feel all eyes on me. It was an expected reaction, so it wasn’t so shocking to me. It was a lot, really. I couldn’t help but feel like it was a little too much.

All thanks to Daria who took me to the Salon. They styled my natural hair that I was already debating about relaxing. That way, it can be less troublesome. It is gorgeous and long enough so I couldn’t decide.

It all started the night before Monday, when I ended up crying in front of Demi. Since he hurt me, I thought of befitting revenge for both of them.

I wanted Lucy to take back calling me a maid because of how I looked. Wanted her to feel threatened by me, not that I was going to do anything. I just wanted to see her eyes go wide.

I walked into All’s with air and grace and headed straight for Demilade’s office. I shot smiles at people on my way to his office.

After I left for her house, I found out she lived with her boyfriend. She was getting ready while I stood outside. I told her exactly what I wanted, and she delivered beyond expectation. I fixed my lashes, got a manicure, did my hair, and went shopping.

I bought some really beautiful gowns, some sexy office wear and a couple of simple chick clothes. I made sure I was home before Demilade got back from work. We haven’t spoken since that night and practically lived like strangers.

Every time he tries to have a conversation with me, I ignore him completely. It’s not fair what I am doing, but I can’t pretend like everything is fine.

We can't ignore everything. I deserved an apology. I had completely lost interest in working at his office, but I just wanted to taunt both of them.

Tuesday morning I acted normally, we didn’t talk. He talked, I hardly replied, and soon he was gone. I smiled knowingly as I went to my room to dress up. I’m going to go into the office to introduce myself as his wife to everyone that worked for him and make my way to his office and submit my resignation letter. That was the plan.

The plan was satisfying, but I couldn’t help but feel like it wouldn’t have much effect as I want it to. A few times, I thought of not doing it.

I just got out of the bathroom when I heard the doorbell ring.

“Good morning,” I greeted her and swung the door open.

“Good morning. Are you ready?” She asked as I lead her to my room.

“I just had my bath,” I told her.

“Ok. You know, I have been Demilade’s neighbor for years and I have never been to this part of the house.”

“Really? Not even the kitchen?” I asked, a little surprised I thought they were close friends.

“Nope. He’s a private person.” She answered, chewing eagerly on the gum in her mouth.

I led her into my room and I quickly hopped to the cloth I chose, picked it up, and showed it to her.

“Babe, this is the one.” She took it from me and gasped.

“Let me change,” I told her, smiling confidently.

“Do you want people to die today? We’d be needing an ambulance.” She joked, and I laughed.

“That’s exactly what I’m gunning for.” I particularly wanted Lucy to faint. Not die, but just pass out a little.

I wore the cloth while she worked on my face quickly. When she asked me to open my eyes, I hardly recognized myself in the mirror.
