why is it one of my faves...?
I love this girl to pieces. We bonded over Red Dead and we were both writing our RDR fics at the same time. Our mutual love for cowboys meant we used to spend a lot of time discussing plots, laughing at Micah pear jokes and just genuinely letting our imaginations run wild.
So let's say it's not surprising that Ride Or Die provides some of the best writing you will find in a Red Dead fic. The OC gang created in the game are also super cool, with some very snazzily names OCs which my brain wished she had the creative skills to make up!
Characterisation in the story is down to a t, and it very much feels true to the storytelling of the game itself - with wild bar fights and emotive long rides on sunsoaked plains. If you find yourself a moment, this fic is a definite read for any RDR fan.
