"Late again, son?"Liu Yangyang doesn't stir his attention to his mother who is sitting on the couch - surely glaring daggers at him for all he cares.
"This is the seventh time now. Perhaps you forgot that your curfew exists."
Her son doesn't answer, only passing by the lounge area and stepping up to the stairs - taking normal paced steps to show that he is nowhere scared of her possibly catching up and probably yanking him down to answer her.
She watches as her son keeps an annoyingly straight face, not even acknowledging her very presence as he disappears within the hallway.
An offended scoff leaves her matte red lips, looking away with a bitter expression on her face.
"Should I do anything, maam?" The head maid asks her boss.
"No. It's alright. Now I know that my actions affect him. Sigh, I must admit - I like seeing him like this.."
"You wanted to talk to me?" Minju asks as soon as she steps into her father's office, her mother sitting on one of the modern chairs, hand holding her iPad."Yes darling," her father starts. "as soon as you're finished with school on Friday, I'm picking you up and we're gonna go visit your brother."
