our manager parked the car. we had arrived at the JYP building. as i got out the car, i had many questions going in and out of my mind.

"what should i do?"

"should i just casually ask her to hang out some time if we see each other again in the hallways"

"if we were close friends pre debut but didn't have time to hang out as much after i debuted...it mustn't be that hard to talk to her again....right?"

"what if she rejects me?"

"how do i act?"          "does she even still remember me?"

"hyunjin? hello?"

jisung tapped my shoulder and i immediately snapped out my thoughts

"oh...uhm, sorry i was zoning out"

"hmm, its about yeji. dont worry, i- uh...i like chaeryeong" he whispered

i smiled at him and gave him a high fave

"hmm i see, LMAO who else in our group has a crush on an itzy member?"

"idk tbh, we'll ask them later, i have a feeling felix likes ryujin though, and i'm getting "minho crushing on someone in itzy" vibes, we'll check out later lmao" he said

"alright heh" i chuckled

we continued walking as the manager was listing us our schedule for today,

"right so today you guys have to practice for the Asia Song Festival in a few days, remember you'll be performing MIROH and double knot there, later on we'll meet the styling team to try on your performance outfits, then you guys are free for some time so have lunch and do whatever you want after that. ah, i also nearly forgot, hyunjin, we have a meeting later on with other staff concerning you MCing."

"what about it?" i said, confused

"oh nothing much ; you know, the Asia Song Festival is organised by MBC music core this time. you'll be MCing as a host there as usual with chani, but mina won't be there apparently because of her busy schedule, so there'll be a special MC with you guys, i forgot who, but that person will be there later on because that is the meeting's whole point."

(a/n : WHY wasnt mina there tho irl, i mean she's in gugudan but their group has been inactive since 2018- theyre not doing anything (blame jellyfish ent. ) IM NOT COMPLAINING tho like- us 2HWANG stans were well fed that day 😌)

"alright, thanks for the info"

we arrived at the company and walked into the entrance, our manager told us he had to leave bc he also had a schedule so we headed to the practice rooms

"i wonder who's going to be the special MC" i said "idk if its going to be a female idol or a male idol"

"i think it'll be a female idol bc they usually have both genders as MCs" seungmin replied
