I'm pretty proud of this one, I'm debating whether or not I should do a second part. Also, this chapter deleted really randomly so this is the second time I'm writing it, fun times, anyways enjoy! :)

Another thing, Evan and his tree knowledge need to be protected for forever (yes I just made that reference XD).

He lay there on the ground. I panicked for a moment thinking he was dead but I then saw slight movement from the limp figure. I stopped staring, quickly rushed over and sat beside him. His eyes were shut yet his face was stained with tears, more flowing out freely.

"Hey are you ok? What's your name?" I asked him as flinched and he opened his eyes, looking at me confused.

"Evan H-hansen." I instantly recognised him from school, he was the shy kid that no one barely talks to, well, except for that Jared Kleinman guy (KiNkY).

"Evan, hi, are you okay? I was about to come off my shift when I saw you laying here." He suddenly turned bright red.

"I'mokaybutIthinkImighthavebrokenmyarm," he spoke so quickly, I couldn't register anything he said.

"Okay, I think you need to try and calm down and just talk a bit slower, that way, I know how to help you." He nodded in response and started taking deep breathes.

"I-I think I might've bro-broken m-my arm," this time he talked a slower pace, still stuttering slightly but I understood him. I then helped him up and we strolled to the closest bench, I pulled out my phone and dialled the ambulance. I explained how Evan may have broken his arm and they were soon on their way.

"So, what happened, how did you end up on the ground?" I was confused about his current situation.

"I actually work here too so I k-know the park pretty w-well and I h-had the, the sudden urge to, um, climb a t-tree," I internally cringed knowing how high most of the trees are, "I, um, I managed t-to get to the top when the branch I was sit-sitting on snapped, sec-seconds later, I, uh, found myself on the ground. My arm was in a-a lot of p-pain." After he stopped talking, he looked at me and I gave him an apologetic look.

"I am so sorry that happened, Evan. Were you laying there long?"

well th-this is the funny part," he chuckled awkwardly, "you see I was um, laying there for 10 minutes just th-thinking to myself that someone was going to come and, uh, find me," he was still chuckling slightly.

"What was the funny part?" I asked, confused about what was humouring him.

"The funny part, u-uh, was that no one came. I laid there waiting until, y-you f-found m-me," as he said this, his face turned crimson, he didn't make eye contact with me, it seemed like he was trying so hart not to.

"Well I'm glad I found you," this made him look at me, "if I hadn't found you the you could be sitting here, awkwardly with some Radom person." We both chuckled. "I'm sorry, that reminds me, I haven't introduced myself, I am-" I was interrupted.

"Y/N L/N." As soon as my name left his mouth, his eyes widened and went a crimson colour again. "IamsosorryIdidn'tmeantodothatomgthat'ssoannoyingI'msorry," even though he woke very quickly, I some how managed to unstandardised him.

"No, it's fine, I'm glad you know who I am, wait, I don't mean that in a weird way, I just means that I was hoping you'd recognise me from school. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that there's no need for you to apologise." Now it was my turn to get flustered, I looked at him with a goofy smile which also made him smile.

Evan's POV

I. AM. FREAKING. OUT. Y/N L/N IS TALKING TO ME?! SHE FOUND ME AND SHE WANTED TO HELP ME, ALSO, WHY DO I FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AROUND HER. AHH HER SMILE IS SO CONTAGIOUS, I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO COMBUST. All of a sudden, a question popped into my head, should I tell her why I really was up in that tree...?

Y/N's POV

Evan was just staring at me, his bright smile slowly faded away and his face was left looking gloomy.

"Evan, are you alright?" I was starting to get worried.

"I need t-to, um, t-tell you some-something, I w-was up in th-that t-tree for a, u-uh, specific reason and I-I may have not b-been completely, uh, honest." Oh no, please DO NOT tell me this is going where I think it's going. "I-I'm s-sorry I l-lied to you." I know exactly where this was going, I looked at him with wide eyes, the colour in my face had drained, so had his.

"Evan? Did you fall? Or did you let go?"
