a new beginning

Ash and his friends stood on a cliffside in Alamos town's mountains , a short distance away from the railings .

The Town had survived the disaster that the fight between Palkia and Dialga was going to bring , partly due to Darkrai's ' sacrifice ' .

Unknown to them , a shadowy figure floated above them listening to every word they said .

Alice remembered how Darkrai saved her " thank you Darkrai ... for everything " .

" I'm sorry Darkrai , I should have known , you were just trying to do the right thing " Ash said in sorrow of the Pokemon's death .

Now Dawn was crying , closing her eyes praying that this happens to no one .

Tonio and Alice left with her Chimchar , followed by Brock and Dawn .

Ash was about to leave when Pikachu's ears perked up and calling his name , Ash turned to his head's direction where he saw the shadow of a very familiar Pokemon and gasped knowing what this meant , he quickly turned around to see the Pokemon who he was mourning was now safe and sound

" Darkrai !! , You're okay " he squealed in Joy .

His friends who were within earshot came running towards him and gasps and laughs of astonishment and relief could be heard from their mouths as they took in their friend who was alive .

Darkrai observed Ash for a minute and thought ' this boy .. he mourned me with his friends ... Who is he ? , Why do I sense a strange strength from him ... Who is - ' .

He was cut off from his thoughts when he felt his body being wrapped by human arms .

Alice who was relieved and teary eyed then began to cry in his black hourglass torso " oh Darkrai , I'm so glad you're safe !! " .

Darkrai returned the hug by wrapping his arms around her in an embrace while everyone had different reactions , the main being Brock who looked on in jealousy and horror as comical tears burst from his eyes . Ash , Dawn and Tonio could only smile at that .

The gang had stayed in Alamos for a week so Dawn could compete in her contests but despite her best performance , she was beaten by a girl named Elisabeth had won with her Infernape but despite that , Dawn didn't lose her spirit and only vowed to train harder and win .

The Oraceon that calmed the Legendaries , played from the Time-Space tower for 7 days, calming Pokemon day and night and during that time , our heroes circled the whole town , hell bent on enjoying themselves although some exceptions were made .

" Ah ! , Look at the dress , it's beautiful ! " Dawn exclaimed with sparkling eyes and a wide smile , standing within a shop alongside Alice who looked equally enchanted with her shoes she was trying on .

Ash , Brock and Tonio stood outside the shop carrying 2 handbags in each hand alongside Pikachu who carried a purse on his head with Piplup giving a bored look to each other saying ' somebody wake up from this nightmare !! ' .

" This is not a nightmare " Darkrai came up from Ash's shadow , talking to the 2 Pokemon and chuckled " I will admit that I would hate to be you right now "

Ash heard Darkrai and turned to see Darkrai " hey , Darkrai " .

Brock and Tonio turned to see Darkrai speak .

" I see you have been dominated by excess shopping and the heavy lifting that comes with it " Darkrai sarcastically said in his observation . He decided that since he had nothing to do but get bored , he decided to annoy the newcomers .
