I was on Instagram on my phone and I got a dm from my friend with a website link. Like a naive idiot I clicked on it and it asked for my password. I typed it in, then looked through the stories where my friend said not to click on the link. I started panicking, trying to change my password quickly. For some reason it kept saying my original password was incorrect, making me more nervous that some hacker already changed my password. I couldn't do the "forgot password" thing because the account is linked with my apple email, which I can't access on my phone, and my ipad was in the middle of updating.

When it was done updating, I immediately went to check what the password to the account was. Turns out, the password I typed on the website was incorrect, which is actually funny because the hackers can't hack me now. Just to be safe, I changed my account's password to something else that wasn't what I put on the website. I really dodged a bullet there. Don't click suspicious links kids.
