"Hello, a table for 2 please."
"Sorry sir, for two?"
"Yes, two! There are clearly two people here! Do you want one of us to starve?"
I said as my blood started boiling. Candace, who was beside me, rubbed my arm and flashed me a smile to calm me down. I heaved a sigh, and quickly apologized to the waiter.
"Alright sir, right this way."
He brought us to our assigned table and handed me a menu.
"Uhm, can I have another menu? For my girlfriend."
He gave me a weird look but just did as told anyway.
"So, what do you want to eat?"
"I'll get whatver you get." She said as she gave me that sweet smile that never failed to make me weak in the knees.
"Alright, well I'm getting a steak, is that good with you?"
She hummed a response.

"Woah! Jeremy this milkshake is really good!! You should try it!"
Candace stated enthusiastically. I chuckled and took a sip of her drink.
"Yeah! Your right! I'll order you another one. I already finished yours."
"Awh~ thanks Jeremy!"
"Excuse me, can you get my girlfriend another vanilla milkshake?"
"Uhm, but sir, your drink is still half full-"
"Can you just get me the drink?! My girlfriend just wants another drink. Is that so hard to do?"
