She tried to fly,
People too close pry,
The feathers so heavy,
Longing for the warmth of quilt.
Heaviness sunk her deep,
She gave in,
For she couldn't breathe.
The heavy feathers they say,
Can be tamed.
But what do you do?
If it's tainted and stained.

The waves engulfing her,
Everything now was blur,
Never regretted her choice,
Knew her demise, wasn't wise,
But what good was living for?
When she just couldn't fly

Thanks a lot to _poets_ for the idea, turned out pretty good.
