Angel's POV

I lay awake on my bed thinking of him. If you need some context "Him" is my best friend and long time crush Ryland Storms. I wish I could be with him but to him we're always just "Best friends" and also he's as straight as a metal pole so therefore I have absolutely no chance with him and it's tarring me apart. The room is silent besides my quiet sobs going into my pillow but then someone calls me so I wipe my tears away as fast as I can and pick up my phone to see that it's Ryland. I answer as fast as possible and clear my throat "Hey bud" the blond boy says "Yo what's up" I ask trying my hardest to seem like I wasn't crying a few seconds before "You tryna come over?" He asks "I mean....sure" I respond a little bit surprised because it's pretty late "Cool. Get ready I'll be there In 10" he says back fast "Ok got in" I nod "Bye" he says happiness in his voice "Bye" I say back. After Ryland hangs up I rush over to my closet and grab some black sweatpants and one of Nick's teddy bear hoodies and throw them on. After getting dressed I hear a ding come from my phone so I check my phone and it's a text from Ryland saying he's on his way so I text back a thumbs up emoji. After a couple minutes of scrolling through tiktok I hear a knock on my window that startles me a little bit so I run over to my window to see Ryland making funny faces at my window and as soon as he sees me he waves and motions for me to open the window so I do "Come on idiot" he whisper yells "One second" I whisper back and run over to put my shoes on. After I have my shoes on I run over to my window and pop the screen out quickly jumping out after "Let's go" Ryland says motioning for me to run "I can't see!" I yell quietly "Ugh. come here" he whispers grabbing my hand and Intertwining our fingers. He leed me to the car hand In hand even though we could both see clearly because of the street lights but he didn't seem to want to let go but unfortunately he did as he realised we were holding hands the hole time. He opened the car door on my side before walking over to get into the drivers seat as he drives away from my house "Where are we going?" I ask him as I noticed we were not going the usual way too the Hype house "Don't worry about it" he says back to me as he smirks. It was about a 15 minute drive to wherever Ryland was taking me because out of nowhere Ryland stops the car and grabs my hand again. He opens his door and motions for me to come out his door so I do. He grips my hand tightly and speed walks over to a spot in a big grass area "Sit here" he says laying down a blanket for us to sit on "Ok?" I say back confused. He comes back from the car with a picnic basket and a thing of white claws (of course). I laughed as he set everything down "What are you laughing at?" Ryland asked as he smiled at my giggles "You" I replied playfully "Shut up cutie" Ryland laughs hitting me lightly on the shoulder and I just smile back at him. After about an hour of just talking and eating we both were full so we decided to star gaze "Hey look it's the Big dipper" I explained pointing up in the sky "Oh it is" the blond boy says surprised. I laugh as he rolls over without me noticing and just stairs at me for a pit before he taps on my shoulder and I turn over "How can someone be so handsome?" He asks looking into my eyes "What do you mean?" I ask "You. How are you so handsome?" He asks me and I'm definitely shocked "I'm really not but thanks I guess" I laugh shyly. I turn a little and notice Ryland stairing at me with 100% awh in his eyes as he searched every visible part of my body with his gaze "did you just say that?" He asked and I couldn't tell if he was mad or surprised "Huh?" I tilt my head to the side "Your fucking gorgeous" he snaps at me "Tha-" but before I could finish I was stopped randomly by Ryland's lips connecting with mine and kissing them softly. I kissed him back almost instantly and was sad when he pulled away for breath. We looked at each other for about 5 seconds before Ryland put his hand on mine and asked me those 5 words that I've wanted to here him say for the longest time "Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked me "Yes!" I answered as he hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Eventually it was starting to get very late so we packed up our stuff and got in the car. I noticed the road we were going down because it was the road to the Hype house. We arrived and Ryland insisted that I get on his back so I did and he brought me into his room and closing the door and locking it behind him. He set me down on the bed and gave me a hoodie of his and told me to change into that. I changed and we spent the rest of the night cuddling and watching Disney movies
