it is your loud, outraged silence that brought the revolution
my expectations from you latched on to the facade you portrayed—
strong grip like your father's, strong mind like your sister's.
you went headstrong,
but i was wrong for so long,
so i write about the way
you purposely eradicate what's left of us,
and turning on a full volume on your senseless insensitivity.
so tell me.
what kind of response to that are you actually expecting?
