Y/n's pov:

I am not able to concede that I actually trust Jungkook... But I actually conveyed it out loud. The biggest mistake of my life.

We climbed down the mountain until we met the beach. The sand is the most gentle hue of gold, almost earthen and muted, the humble star of the scene.

With every step the sand shifted. With every motion forward there was some backward and down, just like walking in fresh fallen snow. Yet unlike the crystalline blanket of white bequeathed by the winter time, the fine grains under foot give me warmth from the suns rays.

I have always loved the wind, for it comes to me so boldly, touches my skin. In coldness it rouses me to wakefulness

Jungkook's hand attentively abandoned the palm of my hand. His wavy hair, changing shapes because of the wind, covered his deep-set brown eyes.

"Staring much?" He didn't lose the bargain to tease me and I caught myself shifting glancies around.

"N-no... I wasn't staring..." He giggles.

"Do you like the beach?" He added changing the subject wisely cause apprehanded I am embarassed.

"I used to live by the beach every summer..."

"Really? " He surprisingly asked.

"Yes. me and Jimin were used to waking up to the sound of the waves on the dark golden sands. We swam and to us swimming means briny waves striking our faces." I announced and Jungkook giggled.

"Go on... What else were you doing? I like hearing your stories." Jungkook gave me the green light to go on and although I was quite timid, I loosened up a little.

"Um... Even in summertime there were days we didn't want to swim or catch crabs; we'd take our fingers and draw a hopscotch grid in the sand" I announced trailling down my every summer with Jimin at the beach.

"You both really liked the beach, huh?" , "We cherished every moment. Some days we'd play long enough for the tide to claim our game. Then we hopscotch kids would slink home under the setting sun, our tanned skin cast orange in those final rays before night." I announced and his hands travelled inside his pockets.

"You really had a great time with Jimin!" He stated what I already know and my eyes landed on him.

"Isn't he like your enemy? Don't you hate him?" I ask.

He smiles.

"No, I don't."

"Then why are you fighting all the time?" I questioned the mysterious boy but I really didn't got an answer back.

"Let's sit!" He announced and I was about to sit on the sand but his strong hand reached for my wrist in an attempt to avert it.

"Wait..." He took his jacket off and applied it onto the sand. I was hesitant wether I should sit or not but he just dragged me down with him.
