I watch the moonlight
Light up the blue water.
Casting a blue light
Over the water.
I hold the liquid
In my cold hand.
But it slips away
As quickly as possible.
"Hello, my lovely friends. Are you there?"
I whisper as softly
As a whoosh.
Awaiting an answer
That didn't come.
I briskly stand up.
Turning back.
To go to the sea house.
And I hear a sound
As I turn around.
I beam.
They leap.
Fins splash.
"Are you there?"
They leap and splash.
Again and again.
Never stopping.
Until I say, "It was nice seeing you friends. I hope to see you soon. I have to go now."
They quiet down and disappear.
I smile and skip to the sea house.
Happy because I saw my friends.
Happy because I talked to my friends.
They are alive and happy too.
