I like to think that after the battle when saracen rue wakes up skulduggery is standing over him and is like 'im sorry...' and saracen's heart just breaks and tears start to form in his eyes and skulduggery is like '...but it's gonna take a lot more than that to get rid of dexter vex' and dexter jumps out from behind a curtain and then they get into trouble because saracen ends up chasing them both around the medical wing screaming curse words and throwing things at them and apparently it's disruptive.
