We all hear lot of LA rather from the music to the movies or the news. Especially South central Only half is true sure it's a war down here. Every young boy or Man a soldier dying for their block. Women worrying if their man will make it home or be caught up in the system or just another dead body. Mothers praying nothing bad happens to their baby. That only half the other half of south central is a fun spectacular place. From the car shows down on Crenshaw everybody drinking, smoking, Low low's bouncing up and down. Going shopping at the swap meet, going outside and seeing everybody playing smiling having a good time. Man ain't no place like LA

Looking out the cab window and seeing the city that raised me and almost killed me. I hope this weekend in Cali with my family turns out amazing. I just hope my auntie doesn't flip out when I arrive with my surprise.

Tammy: to the cab driver) wait right here for just a minute please
Driver: okay ma'am
Tammy walks up to the house and knocks on the door to see if anybody's home
Tammy: *knocks* auntie *knocks* auntie are you here
The door opens and reveals auntie rose 🌹

Auntie: hey tammy * pulls her into a tight huge * oh I've missed you how have you've been.
Tammy; I've been good
Auntie; you've gotten thick mamas * looking her up and down *
Tammy; oh auntie now
Auntie;I'm serious I remember when you was just a little stick bug.
Car horn honking
Auntie; will don't just stand their mama's come in come in
Tammy; will you go in auntie I'll get my stuff *sounding calm but nervous *
Auntie; alright * goes inside *
Tammy pays the cab driver and gets her things and the surprise she has in store. When they go in the house auntie is in the kitchen cooking enchiladas and beans and rice.
Tammy; * shouts * AUNTIE
Auntie; In the kitchen Tam
Tammy goes to the kitchen with the surprise right behind her.
Tammy; Auntie * sounding nervous as hell *
Auntie; yes Tam
Tammy; I've got a surprise for you
Auntie; aww Tammy sweetheart you didn't have to do that. What Is it , let me see
Tammy; close you eyes * sounding real terrified *
Auntie *closes eyes *
Tammy; * pulls out the surprise * okay now open
Auntie opens eyes and her mouth drops open and she looks shocked/ confused/ mad as hell.
Tammy; auntie this is my daughter Your great niece Lyric Aaliyah Martinez
