Yoongi finally arrived at Hoseok's house after getting lost a few times. He had to rely on his GPS app to find the address and it wasn't very reliable, but he managed to make it before the set time of their meeting, allowing him to take a moment to admire the house in front of him. It was both larger and nicer than his own and he genuinely wondered how the dancer's parents could afford such a living space. Not wanting to seem like a stalker, he checked his appearance and exited his car before walking up the marble steps leading to the front door and ringing the doorbell. No on answered, and as he waited there for a minute, he started to become anxious. Worrying at his bottom lip, he rang it again.
Immediately, the door swung open, revealing a tired Hoseok standing in the doorway rubbing his eyes, clad only in gray sweatpants. Yoongi swallowed thickly, desperately trying to fight his gaze from moving down to the male's tanned chest and defined abs but unfortunately, failed miserably and his breath hitched.
This is so much better than seeing it through a shirt.
"What?"
Yoongi's eyes widened. "Uh, nothing! Anyway... you said to come at noon right? As in one-two-dot-zero-zero? Am I early? Hopefully I didn't wake you up? I can leave and come back if you want me t—"
"—Oh my God, please shut up" Hoseok yawned, running a hand through his hair before squinting at Yoongi. "Stop worrying. You're not early, I just sleep in late on the weekends." He turned around and walked into his house, motioning for Yoongi to follow and the smaller did,
gawking at the spacious rooms and expensive looking decor. "Are your parents—"
"—My parents aren't home" Hoseok interrupted, tone stern and Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows, getting the impression that the dancer's parents were a sensitive topic.
Noted
"Anyway" Hoseok continued, "I guess you can come up to my room because I need to change." He began making his way up the stairway and Yoongi following again. Hung up on the walls of the staircase were family photos, mostly of Hoseok as a child and Yoongi stopped in his tracks as they passed a framed picture of six year old Hoseok. He was holding up a peace sign to his right cheek, bright heart shaped smile on full display with a few missing teeth, and Yoongi couldn't suppress a chuckle. Hoseok turned around, face twisting in discomfort when he saw what the smaller was looking at. "Don't look at those. I was an ugly child."
"No you weren't." Yoongi smiled and moved onto another picture of Hoseok sitting in front of a large cake that read Happy 10th birthday, Hobi! and he cooed. "You're so cute."
"I—What?"
Yoongi's eyes turned as wide as saucers as he realized what he had just said. "I-I mean, you were cute... Not saying you aren't cute now—Maybe you are, I don't know. It would be a little awkward if I were to tell you that, right?"
Hoseok only stared at him blankly before scratching the back of his neck. "Are you always this weird?"
Only around you.
He shrugged. "It comes and goes, I guess."
The younger pressed his lips together in a thin line before turning around and continuing to walk up the stairs, the two making it to the second floor.
Hoseok stopped in front of the first door in the small hallway. "This is my room. All the other rooms are stuff that my parents use so don't go in them. Got it?"
Yoongi nodded, looking around at the five other closed doors.
That's a lot of empty rooms...
